Sauna installation in Tampere and Pirkanmaa
We install every sauna we build ourselves, from the first stake in the ground to the first heating. One team, one timetable and one fixed quote, so you are not left coordinating builders, electricians and deliveries on your own.
What happens and when
A typical garden sauna, counted from the day you accept the quote.
Week 0
Site visit, measurements and photos of the plot. You receive a fixed written quote within a week.
Weeks 1–3
Final drawings, a permit check with your municipality and the material order.
Weeks 4–8
Wall, floor and roof elements are built in our Tampere workshop while the foundation is prepared.
Install days
Assembly takes two to four days. An electrician connects the lights and any electric heater, and we heat the sauna together.
Foundations we use
The right foundation depends on the ground. We decide it on the site visit, not from a catalogue.
Screw piles
Steel piles screwed into the ground, with very little digging. Good for clay, slopes and plots where heavy machines cannot reach.
Concrete blocks
Blocks on compacted gravel for flat, firm ground. Simple, affordable and easy to level.
Rock anchoring
On bedrock, common on Pirkanmaa’s lake shores, we fix the frame to the rock with steel anchors and adjustable feet.
What you prepare
- An access route about three metres wide for a delivery truck, or tell us if a crane or a boat is needed
- The plot boundaries, so we can check distances to neighbours
- For electric heaters: the size of your main fuse, which the electrician checks
- For an indoor sauna in a flat: a renovation notice to your housing company before work starts
Fire safety and chimneys
Wood-burning stoves are installed with a steel chimney, a spark arrestor and the safety distances given in the stove’s manual. After installation, book a chimney sweep at the intervals Finnish fire safety rules require: every year for a home used all year round, and every three years for a summer cottage.
We can also remove an old sauna before the new one goes up. Ask for it in your quote.
